So tomorrow me and Francesca are going to New York on Saturday! I’m thinking about possibly going to the Bronx Zoo considering I’ve never been. My friend Tashie says to check the butterfly exhibit out! I also get to meet up with my friend, Ryan who goes to school in the city! Any ideas on what to do? I haven’t been in the city since I was about 14.

So about 3 hours ago my landlords brindle pit bull, Tank wasn’t on his leash and turned the corner and saw Emmet(pictured) and ran after him and grabbed a hold of his neck. I was in such a state of shock! Then I remember something that a friend had told me..”If one of those pit bulls ever attacks your dogs grab their hind legs and lift them up in the air.” So I did what she told me too and guess what…it didn’t work! So then I just started pounding my fists into Tanks’ jaw repeatedly until the mail-lady came running down the street and sprayed mace into his eyes. Then Tank finally let go. Then I immediately checked Emmetts’ neck to make sure that the bleeding would stop. Thankfully, it did. I put some anti-bacterial ointment on his two puncture wounds and made an appointment with the vet for 8am tomorrow morning. Then I cried…ALOT! I cried on the phone to my Mom, I cried on the phone to Francesca, I cried on the phone to the Vet and I cried in person to the neighbors…and of course to Emmett. I then took him to McDonalds for a couple double cheeseburgers because I was just so proud/scared/grateful for him being okay. So the moral of this story…please keep your dogs on a leash!

Anyone have a really stubborn dog?

Ok so my lab/pitbull puppy, Bailey(pictured below), is driving me INSANE! I’m currently crate training her but it is NOT WORKING! The second I let her out of the crate she will deficate right on my rug but, if I take her outside she will not go. She will literally wait until I take her inside to go to the bathroom! I have no idea what to do! I have tried everything; rubbing her nose in it, clicker, treats, and every other thing! I live in an apartment in the city so it’s not like I have a backyard to let her lose in while i’m at work. So what should I do? I would REALLY appreciate any tips that you guys have used with your stubborn dogs!

Even while sipping Grey Goose out at a club, Paris Hilton has babies on the brain.

“I definitely want three or four [children],” she told PEOPLE in Las Vegas Saturday night, while partying at Pure Nightclub for her sister’s birthday.

As for a timeline? “Soon,” she said. “Maybe a year or two.”

In the meantime, she’s just enjoying domestic life with beau Benji Madden. “We just had our 7 month anniversary,” she gushed. “We are just so happy.”

Hey man, I have nothing on Benji, it’s Paris that I’m worried about! Those kids will be in therapy by the time they’re 5. I’ll bet my money on it!

How do you get young folks to vote? Just say NO!

Leonardo DiCaprio, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Tobey Maguire, Eva Longoria Parker and other stars are using reverse psychology to get young people into voting booths on election day.

In a new public service announcement that hit YouTube and other online outlets Wednesday, DiCaprio says: “Please — just don’t vote.” Others echo his plea: “Don’t vote.”

But the stars soon twist the message: Voting is a civic duty and the only way to effect change.

“I mean, seriously, … after this whole video — if you’re not gonna vote, I don’t even know what to say. … You know you have to vote,” says DiCaprio, who produced the PSA.

Here is the story of a girl who went to the gas station to get some gas and a pack of cigarettes and decided to buy a cheap $2 scratch ticket. Then the girl went back to her car, took out a penny from the glove compartment and starting scratching. All of a sudden something changed. She couldn’t believe it. “Is this for real? This has to be a joke!?” she thought. But, no this was no joke. She had won $2500!! Oh PS: the girl in the story… IS ME! I am totally serious guys! I just won $2500 (well $2000 after taxes.) So now the question is…What the hell do I do with all this money? At first I contemplated going to LA with Francesca to stalk Patrick Dempsey but, then decided that would be very impulsive and should probably think it through. So now I’m thinking that I’m going to trade in my current car and put a down payment on a nice new one! I would LOVE a red Honda Accord with leather seats and a sunroof. Yeahhh I could deal with that. I also could get my OWN apartment instead of renting with someone else. That would be pretty sweet too. So really who knows? I guess I am going to have to sleep on it but, I really have a feeling that there will be some impulse buying this weekend.

Animal Adoption=Saving Lives

No matter what area of the country(or world) you are in; you can help thousands of homeless animals a year by donating or adopting an animal from your local shelter. Most animal shelters are also in serious need of certain supplies. Most of the things they need include blankets, toys, crates, food, bowls, paper towels, laundry soap, and basically anything that you would use at home! I adopted my boy, Emmett(pictured) from the Worcester Animal Control Center and he is probably the best dog I have yet to have! Despite the fact that he was severely abused, he is so undeniably loyal and will follow me everywhere! I don’t even have to put him on a leash when we go for our daily walks. I take him to my parents house almost every weekend and occasionally to class! So guys, seriously, consider adoption. I PROMISE you won’t regret it!!!
